The Soul Behind Sorèlune

A woman-grown, woman-owned Napa Valley Chardonnay — born from intuition, rhythm, and the quiet magic of chance.

Crafted for thoughtful on-premise programs, Sorèlune Chardonnay is available in kegs – bringing premium Napa Valley wine to the glass while reducing waste and preserving freshness.

You’re not just drinking a California Chardonnay, but a Chardonnay that comes from the birthplace of California Chardonnay, cool climate Carneros. Sourced from a heritage family ranch owned and operated by fourth generation grape grower Jennifer Thomson, this Chardonnay embodies balanced fruit and bright acidity with just enough warmth to feel like the California sun is setting in the background.

Crafted by Intuition

Owner of Thomson Vineyards in Napa, CA

I am thrilled to collaborate with Nova on this new Chardonnay—a wine that truly reflects the character of our vineyard and her thoughtful craftsmanship. Working closely through the growing season, we focused on nurturing fruit that balances brightness and texture, giving Nova the foundation to express both place and purity in the finished wine. The result is a Chardonnay that captures the history of our land and the skill of an exceptional winemaker dedicated to honest, elegant wines.

As a grape grower, I am proud to celebrate the long-standing partnership with Nova, whose deep understanding of balanced vines and shared commitment to quality have shaped every project we’ve created together.

It is always a pleasure to work with a winemaker who trusts in the grower knowing their vineyard and that the sense of place and history behind the vineyard will find a way to shine through in a beautifully crafted and finished wine.

Nova Cadamatre MW

Owner and Winemaker

Over the course of nearly two decades, I’ve had the privilege of working across some of the most renowned vineyards in the world, shaping my craft and deepening my understanding of wine from soil to glass. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Viticulture from Cornell University, and in 2017, I became a Master of Wine — the first female winemaker in the United States to achieve this distinction.

My journey has included meaningful time in the iconic To Kalon vineyard, where I served as Senior Director of Winemaking for Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville, California. Along the way, I’ve been honored to be named to Wine Enthusiast’s “Top 40 Under 40” list and to have produced numerous 90+ scoring wines from both coasts. Each experience has reinforced my belief that great wine begins with intuition, patience, and respect for nature’s rhythm.
